What a delightful shoe! Smooth, elegant, well-made, padded sole for comfort, feminine version of an oxford. I ordered the brown which is almost an espresso ..... a beautifully rich, dark brown.Shipped in excellent, protective packaging. The end of the box has a place to insert a card describing the box contents. My shoe repair guy says shoes should be kept in the box along with the silicate packet for long-lasting care.I find the Hommerson oxfords runs just a tiny tad narrower than some other brands and that fits my foot just fine. I wear lightweight or trouser sox with these shoes.The leather is soft but holds its shape; I think most people will need bandaids on their achilles area until that section of the shoe's leather "breaks in."

the shoes arrived in a timely manner and in good condition. They have NO traction and slip on slick floors and snow and ice. You are getting what you paid for with these. An inexpensive pair of shoes that look cute but have no foot support. I like the shoes and added gel inserts so that they are more comfortable. They are holding up well for the price.

I have a medium width foot and I could barely get my toes in the opening. I love the look of the shoe, but it won't fit the average foot.
