These dance sneakers run true to size, but if you're between sizes you'll probably do best in the smaller of the two. Important: This version of the Aris Allen Classic Canvas Dance Sneaker has been redesigned with a shorter vamp and lower sides - however, these will probably not fit if you have narrow feet because they run very wide in the heel. We're including free color matching heel grips with every pair. But please don't purchase them if you have a narrow heel. Even with heel grips they probably will not stay on your feet when you're dancing. If you own last year's model of this style (which ran a half size large) then you'll want a half size smaller. These shoes feature durable, chrome suede leather soles which are designed for dancers of all skills levels. The suede soles are flexible without losing support and balance. To maintain the suede leather (or make it less "zippy"), we recommend using a fine, brass wire brush on the soles to remove the grit and dirt. Aris Allen's are admired worldwide for their amazing comfort and these shoes are no exception. The insoles are well padded with highly supportive foam which helps reduce the impact on your feet when dancing for long periods of time. The insole is removable so you can add your own or wear them with orthotics.
