These shoes are really great for walking and have 2 different inserts in them, so you can use or not use to make them fit how you'd like. I took both out and used my own orthotics and that was also great. the sole is solid and supportive. They are interesting-looking, but not overly stylish. But that's not what I demand in my walking shoes.

This is my first time wearing a shoe with inserts. I'm very please with my choice of this style shoe. I didn't want a white cross trainer look. I like that this style doesn't have a thick pad at the ankle and the lacing is more updated compared to some of these shoes. The stitching at the top toe and sides is attractive. I'm happy with my decision which was made only by a catalog, no sample. I would like this style in a taupe color if the company would consider providing that option.
