I have bought this shoe before and worn it out. The artificial material is definitely not as good as leather, which lasts much longer and doesn't smell bad after getting wet. But I have a long narrow foot so my choices are not as broad as other people's. The shoe is satisfactory, but I recommend the same model in leather if you can afford it and find it in your size.

Bought these for our mom who has had some issues with her feet and they are great. They stretch a little to provide comfort to any issues you may have.
