These are an excellent bargain. They are very well made and are light as a feather. Yes, the leather is very stiff and needs a few days break-in which is not what an online buyer looks for. I am glad I kept them and spent a few days breaking them in. I have plantar fasciitis and arthritis in my feet and ankles. These shoes are very stable and firmly cushioned. Some overly squishy models of shoes make my legs tired, but not these. Order a half to one size larger...they run very short in the length. I ordered wide and they seemed true to width.

I have bought this shoe in the past, but this particular one was not the soft leather that I had with the first one. The size was a little off, I had to return it to get a larger size. The shoe is comfortable, but I wish the leather was softer like the first pair that I bought.
