The picture doesn't do these justice, and since I bought these online, I was pleased to see that they're so much cuter than in the photo.They are true-to-size, comfy, and seem well-made.There is one thing I dislike very much about these shoes: the soles are made of some hard plastic. They offer virtually no traction (it's icy right now where I live and I think these might make good skates), and they make a loud sound when you walk...like tap shoes, maybe? I would NOT RECOMMEND these for someone with gait or balance issues, or maybe an older person who may be unsteady on her feet.Overall, I like them and would buy them again, but I would have loved them if the sole was rubber instead of what it is.

I bought these same shoes 11 years ago and they just fell apart last week! I have a hard time finding "dress" shoes due to the fact that I have to wear a brace in my shoe for foot drop and need shoes with laces. These go with work clothes but also versatile enough to dress up jeans. I wore these shoes until they literally fell apart at the seams. I am so happy that I can find another pair!

I've had a pair of these in black for some time and they are the most comfortable shoes I own. I was happy to see that they were still available, especially in brown. I read another review that said her shoes squeaked. I didn't think too much of it, since I haven't had that problem with the black pair that I already owned. Sure enough, the new ones are squeakers; the more I wear them the more (and louder) they squeak. So if not for the squeak issue, I would have given this product a 5-star rating.
