I should have known by the price of the shoe, but these should have cost less than $10. The sole of the shoe is very thin. When you walk on concrete, it feel as if you only have socks on. You can feel every pebble you walk on. Also, one of the shoe laces were already worn to the point of breaking. I will never purchase this brand of shoe again.

I ordered these in the taupe and they looked exactly liked the pictures and to me honestly a whole lot cuter in person. I loved the lace detail on the shoes. They fit true to size but are a little tight if you plan on wearing socks with these but still okay. The only minor complaint is that they don't feel super sturdy but then again you get the quality you paid for. But don't get me wrong these are still good quality and I wouldn't hesitate in buying another pair. Overall definitely recommend

Saw these lovely shoes as I scanning the section looking for a nice pair of flat dress shoes. I love the look and the heavy lace and the shoe was much more attractive in person than I imagined. I was concerned about the fit as they were purchased online from a brand I had never previously worn. But the fit is very comfortable. These go very well as a dress shoe with a skirt or dress slacks and can also be worn with jeans. As I like to wear boots with shorts, I can not say how they would work with shorts. I have received so many compliments of the leather/lace combination of the shoes, most have been from men. I look forward to the Shay Oxford becoming available in other colors and may order a second pair in the maroon. I often wear black slacks with black dress shirt/sweater for work and like an attractive non-black color for the shoes and this fits the bill well.I have and will continue to recommend the Shay Oxford.
