Dr. Martens for Life

Read most of the reviews on this page and you'll find people are disappointed in the quality. That's because you're used to the Dr. Martens made in England. These are the Dr. Martens made in China. They are vastly inferior in quality to those make in the UK. They will be a disappointment and not last as long. In the review people talk about their Dr. Martens lasting 5-10 years. And that's normal. But not with the Chinese-made Dr. Martens. They are inferior. If you google Dr. Martens for Life you'll get the Dr. Martens that are made in England. Yes they still make them in England with the quality you know and love. They are slightly more expensive ($20-$40), but the quality is orders of magnitude better, and they come with a lifetime guarantee. Other than industrial use they are pretty much guaranteed for life. A great bargain.

The shoes are low quality made in china. They are not the same quality as Dr. Martens I have purchase before.

The Best Shoe

Very comfortable, excellent shoe! I was apprehensive at first in buying through Amazon, but I am glad I did. I wear my shoes as an all purpose shoe, and usually around eight or more hours a day and my feet feel comfortable all day. Dr. Martens 1461 is a shoe that lasts, my last pair lasted me almost ten years and I expect these ones will as well. An excellent shoe that is well worth the price.
