Received my shoes this afternoon and immediately did a "test drive"-haha. I think it is important to share this info since all shoes are different. The outcome I found was that this shoe-my normal size can be worn perfectly with trouser socks,panty hose, and tights. If you have wearing this shoe with socks-they are snug and I highly recommend going one size higher. I am very pleased and will consider buying another pair to be worn with socks.
