These shoes are great, & extremely comfortable; I have four pair, all from Amazon. The only reason why I didn't provide five star rating is because the actual shoe is always a little lighter than they appear on-line. For instance, don't except this product to be as navy as it appears above. Other than that, I love them.

I ordered the Ely-2 in Granny Apple and probably should have paid attention to the color name but went with the image instead. This was a mistake because at least on my monitor the color looked like a nice, energetic turquoise. However, the actual shoe color is much greener than what it looked like on my screen, although I would not call it Granny Apple either. It is an intense bluish-green not present in nature :-). Sadly, this color did not work for me at all and I had to return it.Note: I did try the shoe on and while it fit nicely and true to size in both length and width, it came up a bit too high for me and the rather stiff edges cut into my ankle/heel area pretty much all around. Since it is made of canvas, I had planned on wearing this shoe with no socks but that definitely would not have worked. So - had it not been for the color, I would have had to return it because of that. I still like the shoe but for me it obviously wasn't meant to be.

These seemed COMFORTABLE, but not so much that I wanted to deal with the wrong color; this photo appears to me that the shoe is grey with neon/lime green sole. They arrived TAN with a MUSTARD YELLOW, very solid looking sole, not the crepe spongy kind you find on chukka boots. This looked like .... something for kids to play "I'm a golfer" or toy shoe for a doll. Personally I just didn't care for this color so I returned them. Only had them on a few minutes and they seemed comfortable but I'm afraid to exchange for another color as I just didn't like the nubby fabric or yellow sole. I don't know why, but lately, many items arrive in a very different color then what I view online here in pic -- If it was EVERYTHING I'd believe it was my computer ....
