i have the unfortunate luck of being in an AFO for a while (ankle foot orthotic) from a terrible accident. i will be in it for about 6 months to a year. i am a big "heel" person and unable to wear those too! i am not a fan of flats or sneakers and was on the hunt for some shoes to wear with jeans or dress pants that would appear "fancier". these are them! they are shiny, comfy and cool! also have a great tread so they are keeping my safe since i am still on crutches for a while. thank you Bates!

i was unable to keep this shoe as it runs very large. i did not want to bother or waste money on exchanging. the shoe was so much larger than i thought i would have possible gone down a full shoe size. the shoe itself was very attractive and well made.
